This food entrepreneur wanted to find a way to bring his homemade potato chips to market. He wanted a logo that was fitting for an expanding specialty food company but also fit his bright, youthful, and light-hearted personality. Packaging potato chips for a shelf life of more than a few days is an involved process that takes specialized equipment and utilizes nitrogen to maintain the freshness. After some research I was able to find a package option that would be suitable for a startup with a limited budget: a foil-lined zipper pouch that would keep the chips fresh for much longer than the typical lined kraft bags that delis use.
